The smallest things are always the easiest to lose. Car park tickets for example. Luckily, Škoda has a straightforward solution: a Simply Clever ticket holder that clips neatly to the side of the windscreen within easy reach.
You can also find Simply Clever solutions under the bonnet. The Kamiq Scoutline features a cleverly designed rubber lid for the washer fluid tank. It opens into a practical funnel so you can easily top up the fluid without making a mess.
A great Simply Clever detail, handy when the first frost descends. Now you don’t have to ransack your car in search of a scraper or resort to your credit card. The ice scraper located in the fuel filler flap will be ready and waiting whenever you need it. Tyre tread depth gauges, with lines spaced 2 mm apart, are incorporated in both lower corners of the scraper. This makes it easy to check the condition of a tyre and to find out in good time when it no longer complies with statutory regulations.
The optional adjustable false boot floor allows you to divide the boot into two different positions. Simply pull out the loading floor to bring it into the lower position. The system delivers convenient storage space.
On one side, there’s a practical and easily washable surface, on the other, elegant textile carpeting. This optional mat can simply be turned over to provide a surface suited to the load.
Optional boot nets are designed to secure transported items and prevent them from sliding around when the vehicle is on the move. The elastic material has undergone strength tests and is designed to hold items weighing up to 1.5 kg. The nets are fitted by hooking them onto the lashing eyes in the luggage compartment.
The great variability and use of the Kamiq Scoutline's boot also benefits from two sturdy hooks on the sides. They are designed to hang items or baggage which would otherwise be unstable or would not fit on the boot floor.
The jumbo box is a practical storage compartment located in the adjustable armrest between the front seats, and is easily accessible by the driver and the co-driver.
A glasses compartment above the rear-view mirror can be used to store your sunglasses or reading glasses. They are protected from damage in their own dedicated pocket and you have the peace of mind that they will always at your fingertips.
One of many ingenious bottle holders is conveniently located in the front doors and includes storage for a 1.5-litre bottle.
As well as the large space to store a water bottle in the front doors, there’s further capacity in the rear doors, too, perfectly designed to hold a 0.5 litre bottle securely while not in use.
The practical jumbo box between the front seats incorporates a lengthwise adjustable armrest to make finding a comfortable driving position simple. An additional card or ticket holder can be found on the underside of the armrest.
The rear folding armrest not only makes travelling comfortable, but also incorporates a holder for two 0.5-litre bottles, where backseat passengers can conveniently put their drinks.
We at Škoda know all too well that this is not an easy task at the best of times. And there is not always someone in the car with you to open the bottle for you. Or perhaps there is…
The bottle holder in the centre console is designed to hold the bottom of a standard 0.5-litre PET bottle securely in place so that you can open or close it with one hand while driving.
The Kamiq Scoutline's rigid body can be fitted with up to 9 airbags.
The Škoda Kamiq Scoutline has been awarded with the maximum 5-star rating in Euro NCAP crash tests.
